Why the railroad needs alcohol
Because... Anywho. Nothing much more to say, I've a little R&R tonight, and I'm looking forward to just staying home. I ordered some new parts for upgrading my Jeep. I love my Jeep. While I'm on the topic, I'm going for my first 4x4 run in November (maybe). I'm stoked to see my Jeep finally see the trails it's literally built for. Let's see if that Trail Rated badge means anything! Hey it's been less than 6 months since I last updated. Current Mood: relaxed | | Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008 | | 7:05 pm |
Away
Getting back from Mirror AB today, I realize that place seems to be a dark hole that sucks trains into oblivion! But I've got 48 hours off! YAY! Current Mood: sleepy | | Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008 | | 1:06 am |
almost a year ...
since i posted on my fricken livejournal Now i suppose since I'm now living with just me and my wife-to-be, maybe I should be posting here alot more, seeing how I don't get enough time out because of my job anyways. It would be a good way to keep in touch with more of the people that I miss. Honestly I'd love to go back to working part time, being out every weekend, and living paycheck to paycheck, but the latter part I'm just not wanting to do again ... ever. Playing with choo choo's is fun! I try to post more again. | | Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 | | 12:11 pm |
I'm currently training to control these. but not yet to drive them. Studying is hard, I'm taking a break now to post this because I'm so bored from staring at my big black binder. Current Mood: blah | | Sunday, June 17th, 2007 | | 8:41 pm |
My plea
Today I was repairing a computer for my sister, the OS was rotten, it didn't boot. While trying a "fresh" install, reinstalling without reformatting, the OS disk included with the machine (BCOM) decided to reformat automatically. My poor sister had not backed up her computer. EVER. And to make matters worst, she trusted her hard drive to her entire photo album of her two children, my niece and nephew. and entire year's worth of photos and videos were lost. She didn't take it too well. This is my plea to anyone who reads this post. Over the next couple days, when you have time to yourself, instead of doing you regular thing, please, take a half hour, back up anything important to you. whether it is family photos, e-books, e-mails, programs, games, funny images, flash animations, personal documents, porn, whatever is most important to you on you computer, and burn it to a CD or DVD. Copy it to another hard drive, another computer, a thumb drive, anything! Don't let your family photos be lost. In this day and age, backing up is becoming more and more forgotten. gigs upon gigs of data are now on our drives, soon (for some maybe already) terabytes! I myself can loose my music, loose my videos, and i can re download them all. you can't download memories again, it's only a request, treat your stuff the way you want. I hope this never happens to all of you -thedraco Current Mood: melancholy | | Thursday, May 17th, 2007 | | 9:16 pm |

Donate to the toolbox fund! :D Appreciate it very much, I'll be making a list of donars here when it's done (and ammounts if it's more than just $10) the goal is $500, but that toolbox is only on sale this week! thanks Draco Current Mood: sleepy | | Friday, April 20th, 2007 | | 10:05 pm |
Draco, Ecotec Warrior
I'm really happy, here's why. This morning, at my place of employment, a local Chevrolet dealership, I passed in my forms to receive my "blue book". (the book that keeps track of my hours as a mechanic) Thus, unofficalially making me a first year automotive aprentice. (officially in 10-14 days, when I actually get my blue book) So. Yes. I am very happy. I'm finally getting somewhere in *Does happy dragon dance, and eats nearest burger* This being said, i was told i get to do work i sell (thing requiring imediate attention that used to go to the actual techs, but now i am a tech) i found almost $5000 of work today, my service advisor, sold NONE! Earlier in the day i was joking with him and another tech (his work got sold) and was told i need to bribe him to sell work, i asked him what he drinks, his responce was "too much" XP There, that's the technical crap outa the way. I'm now pointing people who want to further argue that these cars are not identicle to gmcanada.com, now beleive the Jebus Dragon Since I'm here, full life update??? YES! I'm in love, totally, with a *YAY* girl, Missie. She recently moved in. She's a bunny. She bought a bunny ... yesterday ... my foot is bigger (hell I think my wang might be, relly, this pet is small) She's really been keeping me sane lately, since I'm really still too young for the 9-5 job I have. She just left her job because of stress, I'm finally glad to see her out of there. There's been days she's come home crying because of the undue stress her co-workers put on her (she was dong the job of 3 full time employees, plus 2 part timers, by herself) OH! rememeber that odd thing i've got under my eye? if you haven't seen me in the last year, you have no clue what i'm talking about, but yea, it's been there. and distracting, and gross. It kinda ... Exploded!! But not as gross as you'd think. it was more like a poof, and rather ... weird. no blood, just, white ... stuff, like muffin mix. so yea, i'll be wearing a band aid under my eye until the loos skin left behind heals (GROSS!) so that's my explaination of why i look like Nelly for the next little while. Well, i'm going to curl up on my ... loveseat-i-wanna-fricking-couch to watch a movie with my lover, hope you enjoyed my spill of life. i should post more Vortec Savior - TheDraco PS, i just used the spell check, and yea, i'm too lazy to fix that many mistakes, sorry :( Current Mood: excited | | Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007 | | 10:41 pm |
How to be rich.
That's right, learn the habits of the rich, and you will become just like them! step one! Ever notice rich people don't work? Quit your job, and you're on your way! Step 2 Rich people spend thousands on booze! Cocktail partys, events, fundraisers. Get to that liquor store and spend spend spend! Step 3 Shop at expensive retail outlets. Yout too must look like the fancy folk. Step 4 How much is on your account? Who cares? your rich! Step 5 How big is your yard? hope there's enough room for all those Jags and Porches. Follows these steps to get that lifestyle you dreamed of. Current Mood: chipper | | Friday, March 2nd, 2007 | | 7:32 pm |

And no, I didn't go digging for berries. Furthest North 2006 Well, I had a blast really, except for some happenings involving my tent, my belongings, and said belongings leaving my tent, while I was somwhere else. Good thing it was just some beer. BUT putting that sad unfortuate event aside, funness ensued. Orci got some great pics, I got some with my logitech toy, unfortunatly i can't post them anywhere, SO I shall Post to Orci's and he'll never be the wiser because he dosen't read LJ's. http://members.shaw.ca/Orcinus3/Two and a half suits where there, a forth being very realistic and run by two midgets ... huh? that was a REAL dog? And just a special thanks to those who put on the Fireworks show by the river. Twas awesomeness. ^.=.^ So taking today to rest from my vacation, I feel great. Some issues resolved, got drunk twice, meet some new furs and got to know some others better. overall a great experience, and I'm pleased I went. -theDraco Current Mood: Relaxed, and renewed | | Tuesday, July 25th, 2006 | | 6:10 pm |

Car's are fixable!
Finally fixed the car! http://members.shaw.ca/thedraco/car/ <-- that's how! now I just hope it's good, I didn't run into any problems intalling that bolt, that's usually a good sign. Just picked up a bolt at Bumper to Bumper. They didn't have any in stock, but he was nice enough to take one off a caliper and give it to me, and replace it with the one he ordered. (best parts guy EVA!) 10 minutes later, fixed. (BTW brake caliper bolt on plymouth acclaims and dodge spirits 10 mm socket) -theDraco Current Mood: YAY! |
